FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means intended for use in nuclear engineering in order to prevent emergency situations by electric circuit break. Device comprises the following components installed in the body; an actuator made in the form of a cutting tool, a trigger mechanism, which is made in the form of heat-sensitive elements of alloy with shape memory, arranged on the piston at the end of which there is fixed a spring-loaded cutting tool. Body is rigidly fixed on the base and closed by a cover. In the base there is a groove accommodating an overcut electric bundle and a hole for passage of the cutting tool. Base is rigidly fixed on a support plate, and on the walls of the body and cover there are holes for heat supply. Heat-sensitive elements are made in the shape of plate parts. Cutting tool can be made of non-conducting material.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of device triggering.
