FIELD: devices for simultaneous urgent breaking of several electric circuits without possibility of restoring connections.

SUBSTANCE: gun-powder cutter for cutting electric wires for breaking electric connection between electric current source and user includes actuating mechanism in the form of cutting tool and trigger mechanism in the form of gun powder charge with drive. Cutter is made with possibility of grounding. Cutting tool is built-up one; it has two members. One member is in the form of П-shaped section having in its walls grooves arranged mutually opposite for placing into them electric wires. Second member is in the form of plate with grooves. Contours of said grooves are similar to those of П-shaped section and their number corresponds to number of grooves in walls of П-shaped section. Second member is connected with П-shaped section for breaking electric connection between electric current source and user and it is arranged inside it with possibility of motion by means of trigger mechanism. Plate groove edges being in contact with electric wires are sharpened. Gun-powder charge is provided with remote drive.

EFFECT: reliable disconnection and short-circuiting in hard-to-reach places of several electric circuits between electric current source and user without possibility for connection.
