SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an agent for preventing, delaying progression and/or treating conditions pathogenesis of which involves DPP-4 enzyme, containing an active substance and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or carriers. As an active substance, agent comprises myristoyl tripeptide Myr-Trp-Arg-Glu-OH or hydrates, solvates or salt thereof.
EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of biologically active substances, used for preventing, delaying progression and/or treating diseases, disorders or conditions, which can be treated or prevented by inhibition of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 enzyme.
