FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used as bidirectional microwave amplifier. Bidirectional microwave amplifier is characterised by using same switched amplifier for reception and transmission of signals. Reversing amplification is achieved by that switch is made in form of double-pole group of changeover contacts of two directions in two positions, wherein contacts of switch connected to directions make input/output device, and contacts of switch, being its positions, are connected to input and output of amplifier.
EFFECT: technical result is provision for amplification of signals in both directions in half-duplex mode with minimum number of elements.
