FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of reproducing audio signal. System comprises a first sound transducer arrangement arranged to generate sound reaching a nominal position from a first position corresponding to first direction; and a second sound transducer arrangement arranged to generate sound reaching nominal position from a second position corresponding to a different direction than first direction. Arrangements may specifically be loudspeakers positioned at given positions. Drive circuit generates a first drive signal for first sound transducer arrangement and a second drive signal for second sound transducer arrangement from audio signal. First position and second position are located on cone mixing sounds for nominal position and nominal direction. More flexible loudspeaker positioning may be achieved.
EFFECT: high flexibility of location of loudspeakers, increase of level of sound pressure and improved quality of spatial perception.
