FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to acoustics and particularly to acoustic systems. The system comprises first and second parametric loudspeakers and a control circuit. The control circuit receives an audio signal and comprises a first exciting circuit which generates a first exciting signal for a first speaker in response to a first filtering of an audio signal with a first bandpass. The second exciting circuit generates a second exciting signal for a second speaker in response to a second filtering, having a second bandpass. The first filter is a high-pass filter and the second filter is a low-pass filter. The circuit also includes a delay element for the second exciting signal. Sound from the second speaker is directionally emitted with a directional pattern having a dip in the direction towards the listening position. The device also includes means for user input of a direction value, a direction estimating circuit and a controller for correcting the directional pattern. The angle between the direction from the listening position to the first loudspeaker and the direction from the listening position to the second speaker is not less than 60 degrees.
EFFECT: accurate and highly realistic sound reproduction.
