FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: biaxyisotropic energy absorbing technical fabrics of threshold operation is proposed, formed by weaving of warp and weft yarns, comprising twisted warp and weft yarns equal in raw material components and linear density, with the same rapport of weaving in warp and weft. In it the warp and weft are made of two-component composite twisted yarns. The composite components of yarns are different from each other in the index value of breaking elongation by the amount of at least ±8%. The mass fraction of the component with the least index of breaking elongation is 25÷50% of the total weight of the combined yarn in general. Linear filling of the fabric in warp and weft are equal and defined by the equation: Z0(w) = [100R0(w)npl./(R0(w)+1.4641)]±10%, where: Z0(w) is the linear filling of fabric in warp (and weft),%; R0(w) is the rapport of the fabric weaving in warp (and weft); npl is the fabric ply rating. The proposed fabric may be used as reinforcing fabric carcass of composites based on elastomeric materials preferably for the manufacturing of "soft" fuel tanks of ground vehicles and aircrafts.
EFFECT: creation of energy absorbing fabric having a greater uniformity of rupture in it of energy-absorbing yarns.
