FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry and can be used for manufacturing single and multi-gasket elastomer-coated conveyor belts, mainly multi-gasket rubber-fabric conveyor belts used in the transportation of rock mass. Proposed woven gasket comprises two identical two-layered background woven structures arranged one above another, interconnected by threads of filling weft, passing from the upper woven structure to the lower one. Complete weave repeats of each composite woven structure consists of one basic repeat of a two-layered weave and an "empty" repeat without the main threads (consisting only of weft threads) adjacent to the weave on the right or on the left. On both surfaces of the woven gasket, protruding longitudinal strips, alternating with the recessed longitudinal grooves, are formed, and in the protuberances on one side of the web on the other side the cavities are located, and vice versa. Connectable woven structures are located in aportal, and each connected woven structure can contain from 1 to 4 complete repeats of the base weave on the base. Proposed woven gasket, in comparison with the analogs, has a breaking load on the weft, which is not less than 50 % of the breaking load on the base, which will ensure high-quality and reliable joining of the ends of the conveyor belt, excluding the sliding and subsequent destruction of mechanical seams. In addition, the structure of the proposed woven gasket provides a higher degree of troughing and stable bond with the coating (in particular, with rubber – 5.5–7.2 kgf/cm versus 4.6 kgf/cm of analogues), and all other indicators meet the requirements for woven conveyor belt gaskets.
EFFECT: quality and reliable joining of the conveyor belt ends.
