FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoplastic elastomeric compositions having air impermeability. Dynamically vulcanised melt comprises at least one elastomer comprising units derived from isobutylene at least one thermoplastic resin and from 2 to 30 phr anhydride functionalised oligomer, grafted to a thermoplastic resin. Elastomer is in melt in form of a phase of vulcanised or partially vulcanised particles of a small size, dispersed in continuous phase of thermoplastic resin. Thermoplastic resin or mixture of thermoplastic resins has a relative viscosity ranging from 3.9 to 2.9, calculated in accordance with ASTM D2857 standard, and melt is substantially free of any sulphonamides.

EFFECT: composition of present invention has a very low coefficient of impermeability being in range required for an airtight material which can be used for manufacturing a number of products such as tyres, air duct hoses, pipes and so on.
