FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system for analysis of formation fluids such as oil (compressed) containing gaseous formation fluids. Analytical system for analysing formation fluids comprises a flash device, configured to partially evaporate pressurised formation fluid, first chromatographic subsystem comprising a first chromatography column, and first sampling circuit and a second chromatographic subsystem comprising a second chromatography column and a second sampling circuit. System also comprises a single data acquisition system coupled to first chromatographic subsystem, second chromatographic subsystem and a flash device, and a microprocessor coupled to data acquisition system, wherein microprocessor is operable to assess GOR pressurised formation fluid supplied to flash device, based on data collected by data collection system.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in accuracy of results up to and including hydrocarbons C20 - for gas samples and up to and including C36+ - for liquid samples and entrained water.
