FIELD: instrument engineering, process and environmental control. SUBSTANCE: gas chromatograph comprises hermetically sealed reservoir filled with carrier gas, such as, e.g. helium. Interior of reservoir accommodates analyzer including, interconnected to each other, unit for switching carrier gas flows and gas flows to be analyzed, assembly of chromatographic columns, detector unit. Inlet for carrier gas is positioned inside reservoir filled with carrier gas and is connected to unit for switching carrier gas flows. Inlet for gaseous medium to be analyzed is positioned outside reservoir. Analyzer also includes outlet for carrier gas and outlet for gaseous medium to be analyzed, latter being connected to detector unit. Analyzer also includes, disposed inside reservoir volume, booster pump for carrier gas flow rate connected to inlet for carrier gas and to assembly of chromatographic columns, and two filters-absorbers. Booster pump is connected to carrier gas inlet via carrier gas flows switching unit and via first filter-absorber, and it is connected to assembly of chromatographic columns via carrier gas flows switching unit, while carrier gas outlet is located in interior volume of reservoir and connected to detector unit via second filter- absorber.
