FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: declared group of inventions relates to veterinary science and aims at treating endometritis in cows. Disclosed is a complex preparation consisting of oxytetracycline hydrochloride, streptocide, furacilin, silicon dimethyl glycerolates, silicon glycerolates, xanthane gum as a stabiliser and distilled water as solvent, preparation consists components ratio, wt%: oxytetracycline hydrochloride (95 %) - 4.77-5.83; streptocide - 0.416-0.508; furacilin - 0.166-0.204; silicon dimethyl glycerolates (CH3)2Si(C3H7O3)3·C3H8O3 - 2.25-2.75; silicon glycerorates Si(C3H7O3)4·6C3H8O3 - 2.25-2.75; xanthane gum - 0.225-0.275; distilled water - balance. Also disclosed is a method of using disclosed preparation. Preparation is introduced into uterine cavity in a dose of 30.0-60.0 ml 3-5 times every 48 hours. Preparation is introduced in uterus with help of a disposable dropper, with underlying stimulating and etiotropic therapy.
EFFECT: present group of inventions is highly effective for treating endometritis in cows.
