FIELD: sonar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustic equipment, namely to active hydrolocation, including active sonars for detecting objects, measuring coordinates and motion parameters of detected objects and classification of detected objects. Summary: determination of parameters of constructions structure is performed by measuring time position of maximums of response corresponding to separate highlights, determination of time intervals between positions of maxima and intervals at distance between separate highlights from object. Possibility of determining parameters of constructions structure and, consequently, classification of detected objects at constructions structure in proposed sonar is connected to fact that duration of response at output of matched filter for specifically generated complex signal is considerably shorter than duration of signal response for tone of probing signal with large duration.
EFFECT: technical result is with high duration tone of probing signal providing possibility of detecting constructions with structure of received echo signal, which is required for performing classification of detected object based on highlight structure.
