FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to brush HV current collectors with air insulation. High-voltage circular collector comprises in each phase contact ring secured to main shaft via insulator, brushes, fixed in brush holders on rigid bracket. Rotary part of current collector is made in form of at least two brackets with insulators and brush assemblies located opposite each other symmetrically about axis of rotation of current collector. Brackets are secured in pairs through insulator to outer frame of current collector. Each pair of brackets in turn through one is secured to opposite vertical posts of outer frame. Vertical symmetry axis of frame posts are located in one plane with rotation axis of current collector.
EFFECT: technical result is increased wear resistance and longer service life of the current collector.
