FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics and can be used for frequency selection of high-frequency signals in radio devices, television, communication systems and radio links for transmitting telecommunication data. Wave resistances of all transmission line sections have same value, which is in 2.3 times more than value of resistance for harmonic filter. Proposed device high attenuation in entire passband and higher steepness of slopes amplitude-frequency response is achieved due to fact that harmonic filter represents structure in which additionally introduced pieces of transmission line providing passage of high-frequency signal in two flows with different phase shifts. This causes interference of high-frequency signals at points of connection of additional transmission line sections, in result of which AFR pulsations form both in rejection band, and in pass band. AFR of proposed harmonic filter by shape corresponds to elliptical filter, in which increased attenuation in entire rejection band and higher steepness of AFR slopes.
EFFECT: proposed harmonic filter contains n series-connected transmission line sections of equal length, parallel to which are connected additional pieces of transmission line length in 2 times greater than length of transmission line sections connected in series.
