FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve industry, in particular to safety valves, and is intended for automatic release of gas medium from pipelines and containers into atmosphere at high excess pressures and providing safe operation of plants and preventing accidents. Safety high-lift valve comprises body with outlet channel and a spring loaded shutoff element made in the form of hollow plunger, bottom of which is equipped with pressed o-ring, and a seat is equipped with inlet channel and annular cylindrical protrusion contacting with seal ring. Seat is provided with second annular cylindrical protrusion, whose diametric sizes are larger than diametrical dimensions of the first cylindrical projection and its end is shifted relative to the end of the first cylindrical ledge. Plunger bottom is provided with through holes in the area between circular cylindrical protrusions on the seat, its outer surface features annular grooves and radial holes connecting the inner cavity of plunger with the last circular groove from the end with a sealing ring. In the housing wall there are radial holes connecting the latter cylindrical groove on plunger with environment at open position of valve. Total flow area of radial holes on the housing and plunger exceeds flow area of through holes in the bottom of plunger.

EFFECT: higher activity of the valve by creation of additional force pressing the shutoff member to the seat when it moves for closing.
