FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field associated with granulation of fluids with solid inclusions and represents a granulator, consisting of a rotary perforated hollow body, in which distance between belts of holes in shell δ is selected according to following ratio δ=(1.0÷2.5)RωRg, where R is radius of shell of granulator, ωR is radial velocity of suspension, υg is rate of deposition of particles of suspension in gravity field; in inner wall of shell, granulator comprises a screw descending groove, axis normal to its axis is an equilateral triangle, base of which serves as inner surface of shell of granulator, while height ξ is selected from relationship: , where µc, ρc is coefficient of dynamic viscosity and density of suspension, respectively, υ is linear speed of suspension on inner surface of wall of granulator, step Δ of descending screw groove is selected from relationship: Δ=(0.5÷1)2πδωR/υ, and thickness of side wall of holes is selected from relationship: h=(0.4÷1.0)dω/υ, where h is thickness of side wall of holes, d is diameter of holes in working wall of granulator, ω is radial component of speed of suspension in hole of shell.

EFFECT: invention prevents increase in concentration of solid particles in suspension as they approach bottom of granulator, possibility of clogging of holes of disperser with solid particles of suspension, deposited on wall of holes in direction opposite to direction of rotation body of granulator.
