FIELD: equipment and accessories for vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for protection of car body against mechanical damages, as well as weather phenomena, such as hail, exposure to sun rays, rain, dust, etc. Automotive awning comprises a frame with a tension canopy and mechanism for fixing said frame to vehicle. Fixing mechanism is composed of at least two frames and L-shaped retainers. Frames are arranged on bearing surface on sides of vehicle. Fasteners are fixed on frames in pairs with possibility of adjustment of relative position and enabling attachment of frames to vehicle tyres.
EFFECT: safer use of awning.
