FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrostatic air cleaning. Filtration unit (1) comprises housing (2) defining therein channel (3) for passage of fluid that carries particles (A) of pollutant. At beginning channel cross-section (3) is provided with at least one perforated conductive grid (4) maintained at a negative electrical potential to emit into channel (3) electrons, which can be attached to particles (A) of pollutant. Inside channel (3), downstream of grid (4) there is at least one accumulator plate (5) maintained at a positive electrical voltage for collecting particles (A) of pollutant, negatively charged by electrons emitted by said grid (4). Near accumulation plate (5) there is at least one deflector element (6) maintained at a negative electrical potential to create an electrical field inside channel (3), whereby negatively electrically charged particles (A) forwarded to accumulation plate (5). Unit comprises at least one electrically conductive thread (7) located opposite and adjacent to corresponding openings (8) of grid (4). Thread (7) is maintained at a negative electrical potential for electron emission, which can be attached to particles (A) of pollutant carried by at least part of fluid passing through corresponding opening (8).
EFFECT: higher efficiency of removing fine particles, operation reliability.
