FIELD: filtration devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter unit for air and gaseous media. Filter unit comprises a channel, where takes place a gaseous medium that contains contaminants of various kinds, at least one filter station for the removal of pollutants such as toxic gases and solid particles, preferably greater than 50 mcm, at least one electrically conductive grating which has at least one opening that is disposed opposite and adjacent to at least one electrically conductive filament, maintained under a negative electrical potential for the emission of electrons, that can combine in pairs with pollutants, such as solid particles and microorganisms, having dimensions preferably in the range of from 10 nm to 50 mcm, wherein there is at least one accumulation plate downstream of the above grating, on which a positive electrical potential is maintained for the sustainable collection of pollutants bound in pairs with electrons, at least one ion emission source for restoring the electric charge of the gaseous medium that flows round the above-mentioned source. Filtration method involves influence on the gaseous medium of the electron flow emitted by the electrically conductive grating that is located along the above-mentioned channel and the filament, a steady collection of contaminants, connected in pairs with electrons on at least one storage plate, restoring the electric charge of the gaseous medium with at least one ion emission source, removal from the gaseous medium in a step that is preventative, subsequent, intermediate with respect to the preceding abovementioned steps, pollutants such as toxic gases and solid particles with sizes preferably greater than 50 mcm at least one filter station located along the channel.
EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency of treatment.
