SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to options of implementation of an aerosol generating system. The aerosol generating system contains a casing, in which an airflow outlet is formed, liquid aerosol forming substrate, an aerosol generator made with the possibility of aerosol generation from liquid aerosol forming substrate, a perforated plate located between the aerosol generator and the airflow outlet. A set of holes formed in the perforated plate, passing through the perforated plate. An electrode is located between the aerosol generator and the perforated plate, wherein the perforated plate is electroconductive. The aerosol generating system is made with the possibility of generation of electric potential difference between the electrode and the perforated plate.

EFFECT: control of the maximum size of drops of aerosol, which is generated by a system; a stable size of aerosol drops provides stable user’s sensations, when using a device.
