FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tightening belt for pipe coupling for connection with force closure, in particular, pipes with smooth ends. Device has overlapping ends, wherein width of two overlapping ends of tightening belt together corresponds to maximum width of tightening belt on longitudinal section between said ends. At end of tightening belt, which is passed through longitudinal slot of other end, there is at least one lengthwise cutout passing in longitudinal direction of tightening belt. Pipe coupling using said tightening belt has a sealing element, where necessary, is fastening element, accommodating said sealing element, which consists of successively following elements in circumferential direction. In areas of tightening screws in a fastening element there is one recess, in which at least partially longitudinal section of tightening screws is located.
EFFECT: invention ensures uniform load of pipes with lowest loads on tightening mechanisms.
