FIELD: production of fittings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe coupling (11) for connecting two pipe ends, comprising clamp band (12) having longitudinal slot (31) with first longitudinal slot side (32) and second longitudinal slot side (33) spaced therefrom, and clamping mechanism (21) for reducing inside diameter of clamp band (12), and bridging element (36) for bridging longitudinal slot (31), which bridging element extends from first longitudinal slot side (32) in direction of second longitudinal slot side (33). Bridging element (36) is provided on inside of clamp band (12) and extends from first longitudinal slot side (32) in direction of second longitudinal slot side (33) over a curved portion, length of curved portion being smaller than inner circumference of clamp band. Furthermore, distance element (41) running in a curved portion is fixed to inside of clamp band (12), edge (42) of distance element (41) facing towards second longitudinal slot side (33) being spaced apart from said second longitudinal slot side (33), and said edge (42) of distance element (41) forming a stop for free end (37) of bridging element (36).

EFFECT: disclosed is a pipe coupling for connection of two ends of pipes.
