FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to unipolar automatic circuit breakers. Core of invention is that when current flows below the rated value of a unipolar automatic circuit breaker at a current relay coil with magnetic attraction of a retractive anchor the retractive anchor is attracted to the permanent magnet. When current flows of the rated value the force of electromagnetic field of the coil and the core pulls the retractive anchor away from the permanent magnet. In this case the retractive anchor being drawn into the cavity with a rod on the end lifts an elongated handle of the unipolar automatic circuit breaker, thereby turning it off and preventing glow cores of the electric wire from overload and short-circuit fire occurrence.
EFFECT: technical result is prevention of load current on the unipolar automatic circuit breaker above its rated value.
