FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices of classification of fine polydisperse loose materials into two fractions with particles of different size, density and aerodynamic properties. Centrifugal classifier comprises a housing with rotary working member, working member drive, tangential initial material and air feed branch pipe, device to discharge the heavy fraction arranged under the working member and communicated therewith, spiral scroll with tangential branch pipe to discharge the light fraction, communicating with the central part of the working member and installed in the upper part of the classifier. Housing is cylinder-conic and equipped with a hollow cylinder fixed in it, cylinder is made with blind lower end, in the upper part of which there is the spiral scroll with tangential branch pipe to discharge light fraction. Rotary working member consists of drive shaft with a fixed disc, on the peripheral part of which there are swirl chambers and main channels, having discharge narrow channels of involute profile for recycling and discharging heavy particles.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of classification.
