PROCESSING FLOWSHEET OF MOULDING SAND BY METHOD OF HYDRO-RUNNER OFF WITH FOLLOWING CLASSIFICATION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B03B9/00 

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: scheme for concentration of moulding sand by method of hydro rubbing off with following classification includes cascade from three tandem and hydraulically connected to each other modules. The first of which contains device for rubbing off and classification in the form of two hydraulic cyclone - classifiers with branch pipes for pulp introduction, by top branch pipes for smalls and by bottom mud outlets in conical parts of hydraulic cyclones connected to vortex chambers. The second and the third modules contain two hydraulic classifiers consisting of casings with receiving-separating and classification chambers with branch pipes for hydromixture introduction, by top leads for smalls and by bottom coarse grain branch pipes connected to vortex chambers. Scheme is outfitted by additional hydraulic classifier which allows top lead which is connected to top leads of second hydraulic classifiers of the second and the third modules of classification. The first module is outfitted by two globular vortex generators for disintegration and removing of polluting films from surface of particles, installed before hydraulic cyclones-classifiers in places of slurry pipeline rotation. Vortex generators are implemented in the form of welded balls of metallic structure with located on its inner walls by agitators and from the outside with two inspection manholes for external visual examination of vortex generator condition and removable manhole for cleaning of tank from garbage. In hydraulic cyclone - classifiers top outlet fittings for smalls are implemented as default by central vertical axis for 2/3 of its height into parallel portion of the latter.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of received product and classification process intensification, productivity improvement of classifier.
