FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for heating of air supplied to burners. Each glass-block represents a thermoelectric section, consisting of thermoelectric converters, arranged in vertical screens and air channels, composed of paired bared wire sections, made from different metals, soldered on ends of each other and forming zigzag rows, connected by plug wires, the outermost wire sections of extreme thermoelectric converters are coupled to single-pole collectors of electric charges, which are connected to an electric accumulator. Wire sections of each thermoelectric converter are passed through vertical screens so that their hot junctions project from the gas channels surface and are coated with thin layer of dielectric material with high heat conductivity, forming a roughness peaks in gas channels, its opposite parts of the thermoelectric converters and cold junctions are located in air channels, zigzag rows are connected in pairs to each other at the bottom by plug wires, forming pairs of zigzag rows, upper outermost cold junctions of the right and left zigzag row of each pair of zigzag rows are interconnected in series through capacitors and plug wires.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of glass-block air heater-electric generator due to glass-block structure which has thermoelectric converters.
