FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Self-contained air heater comprises cylindrical housing provided with supports accommodating fan with motor, burner with injector, cylindrical combustion chamber consisting of carcass composed of support rings interconnected by lengthwise strips, inner end of which is connected to injector, and outer end is connected with nozzle for cleaning combustion products. Between the frame and the wall of the cylindrical housing there is an annular heat chamber, to outer side of the support rings there attached are circumferential thermoelectric links interconnected by bridges and equipped with electric capacitors and terminals, and consisting of several circumferential parallel rows composed of arranged zigzag-like thermionic converters, each of which consists of a pair of sections made of different metals M1 and M2, the ends are connected to each other, forming cold and hot junctions, longitudinally connected to each other, and clamped by paired upper and lower parallel longitudinal fastening strips connected to each other.
EFFECT: invention can be used in space heating systems.
