FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fire extinguishing crown forest and steppe fires. Method for explosive rapid fire extinguishing consists in the following: containers, filled with dispersed fire-extinguishing substance, mixed with dispersed explosive substance, are delivered to the selected section of the burning object. In body of container there is a groove for receiving before its throwing into the burning object a thermal fuse detonator, impact head of which is fixed in initial condition by means of consumable thread. Fire-resistant loops are made on the container surface. Container, filled with fire-extinguishing substance mixed with explosive substance is thrown downwards. Under the effect of high temperature the consumable thread of the thermal fuse detonator is fused and explosive explodes, beating out flames and intensely spraying fire-extinguishing substance, which is deposited on incandescent elements of the burning object in the entire volume of this section of the burning object.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of fire extinguishing crown forest and steppe fires.
