FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fire extinguishing remote inaccessible sections of a burning object. Method for explosive fire extinguishing consists in the following: pneumatic gun is mounted on a self-propelled platform, with the gun rear part connected to a group means creating controllable compressed air pulses. Containers are filled with dispersed fire-extinguishing substance, mixed with dispersed explosive substance. In body of container there is a groove for receiving before its throwing into the burning object a thermal fuse detonator, impact head of which is fixed in initial condition by means of consumable thread. Self-propelled platform with the pneumatic gun mounted thereon are pulled up if it is necessary to extinguish. Container filled with a fire-extinguishing substance mixed with an explosive substance is charged into the pneumatic gun barrel. Compressed air pulse is supplied to the pneumatic gun barrel with the container pushed out with such pulse.
EFFECT: under the effect of high temperature the consumable thread of the thermal fuse detonator is fused and explosive explodes beating out flames.
