FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to method and device for separation of batch of fresh and hot coke in receiving container with movable plate segments. Method of separating fresh and hot batch of coke in the receiving container, according to which in chamber of coke furnace battery of coke furnaces with heat recovery or without regeneration coal is loaded for carbonisation, said carbon carbonised during working cycles, and after carbonisation coke to push coke pusher in form of compacted and solid coke mass of coke furnace chamber in receiving container of quenching car, transported to quenching tower, where it is cooled to ambient temperature by coolant, wherein movable segments of plate is displaced relative to each other over bottom of receiving container by means of controlled mechanical drive immediately before or during process of extinguishing so that fresh party coke breaks and forms additional slot channels and with salient edges in coke, in which can flow coolant nozzle for coolant above said fresh batch of coke, and cleaned area of batch of coke can be moistened with coolant.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase economic efficiency of method, as well as enhance quality of coke and reduce load on environment.
