FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: solid plate of hot coke 26 is pushed out onto flat receiving surface of hot car 24 where upon hot car 24 is transferred to area of arrangement 30 of coke quenching car. Solid plate of hot coke is pushed out of hot car 24 onto flat receiving surface of coke quenching car 34 wherein solid plate of hot coke 26 is quenched. Hot car 24 contains a partially closed hot box with in essence flat surface for setting plate of hot coke 26 and a mechanism for hoisting and transfer of the hot box in the direction to coke furnace 12 and from coke furnace 12.
EFFECT: reduced dust generation without essential increase of time for production cycle of coke furnace.
