SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building. Gas damper assembly comprises flexible wall made of elastomeric material. First end element is connected to first end of flexible wall. Second end element is connected to second end of flexible wall. Support wall is located across to longitudinal axis. Flat mounting bracket is located in longitudinal direction outwards from bearing wall. Support wall and flat mounting bracket form passage. Into passage, corresponding component of suspension is introduced. Second end element rests on suspension component, wherein support wall is arranged with clearance in lengthwise direction from flat surface of suspension component. Suspension system comprises: elongated component of vehicle suspension, unit of gas damper, and fastener. Method for assembling suspension system comprises providing elongated suspension component, providing gas damper assembly, installation of gas damper assembly along elongated suspension component, introducing fastening element along channel of flat bracket and channel of component, and mounting flat fastening bracket.
