SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for air filtration. The air filter cartridge is intended for removable installation in the body of an air purifier. The air filter cartridge comprises a packing surrounding and defining the open inner space, wherein the packing passes between the first and second ends; a first plug at the first end of the packing, wherein the first plug has a central air flow hole passing through said plug and communicating with the open inner space of the filter; a body sealing apparatus on the first plug; a central closing element closing the open inner space of the filter and containing a part passing across the inner space of the filter at a place displaced in the direction of the second end of the packing from the first end of the packing, wherein the central closing element has an inner surface and an outer surface and comprises a part extending into the open inner space and in the direction of the first end of the packing, and a protrusion extending in the direction from the first end of the packing. The outer surface of the central closing element has a part surrounding and displaced from the protrusion extending in the direction from the first end of the packing, and comprises multiple spaced ribs directed toward the central protrusion.
EFFECT: ease of assembly, maintenance of the filter, increase in the efficiency.
