FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems of location detection. Solution includes four support bases (A, B, C, D) on ground at known positions with coded signal time transmitted by one of them, which is repeatedly transmitted by repeater station and received by each of support bases. Using two separate sets of three support bases can calculate difference between two positions for repeater station (R), assigned followed by changes in time, phase or frequency, as well as time changes as result of signal propagation in transmitting medium for corresponding elevation angles found for repeater. Then it is possible to identify which values assigned time changes, minimum difference between two positions of the repeater station (R) is generated. Identified time change can be used for correct determination of repeater station and its use in appropriate applications.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining time changes during retransmission.
