FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and aims at eliminating violation of lipid content of membranes of erythrocytes in newborn calves with iron-deficiency anaemia. For correction of lipid content of erythrocyte membranes in newborn calves with iron-deficiency anaemia ferroglucin is administered intramusculary in a dose of 150 mg (2 ml), twice a day every 4 days, 5 mg/kg of cresacin a day starting simultaneously with first injection of ferroglucin, including it in feed regimen for 4 days, and gamavit is injected intramuscularly once a day in morning in amount of 0.05 ml/kg for 4 days starting simultaneously with ferroglucin and cresacin.

EFFECT: use of disclosed invention enables to avoid many vascular complications, optimise microcirculation and tissue trophism in animals, restore health of livestock, reduce mortality, accelerate growth and development of calves, increase weight gain.
