FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-resistant products from glass fibre. Method of obtaining product from glass fibre by obtaining a first mixture containing dry melt-resistant filamentary glass fibres, fire-retarding and thickener solution; obtaining a second mixture containing first mixture and a binding agent, wherein first mixture and binding agent may form expanding foam; and application of second mixture on surface prior to formation of a second mixture of expanding foam. Also disclosed is a method of obtaining a product of glass fibre by adding a thickener to fire-retarding solution to obtain a first mixture; adding a curing agent to first mixture to produce a second mixture and adding dry melt-resistant thread-like glass fibres to second mixture to produce a paste-like mixture.
EFFECT: technical result is development of method for application of uniform and stable flame-retardant substance on product based on glass fibre.
