FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inertial navigation and can be used in aircraft strapdown inertial navigation systems (SINS). Operability of SINS is provided in absence of data from satellite navigation system based on use of data obtained in previous flights. Evaluation of corrections to calibration values of primary system errors based on criteria of reliability and observability is carried out during entire flight. Final estimate is formed as a weighted average estimate on flights in which satellite navigation system information is accessible, and stored estimate obtained in a particular flight is assigned a weight coefficient corresponding to number of flight and observability of primary errors in particular flight.
