FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multiferroics technology. Method of producing a composite multiferroic involves heat processing of iron-containing alkali-borosilicate glass, maintenance of two-phase glass in 3M solution of mineral acids (HCl, HNO3) at the temperature of 50÷100 °C without or with an additional maintenance in 0.5 M solution of KOH at 20 °C during 0.5-6 hours, multistage washing in distilled water and combined drying in air atmosphere at the temperature of 20÷120 °C. Pore space of matrices containing Fe3O4 (magnetite) with the crystallites size of 5÷20 nm is embedded with a ferroelectric material from saturated at the temperature of 20 °C aqueous salt solution. Impregnation of the samples is performed at the temperature of 80 °C with final drying at the temperature of 120÷150 °C. Then heat processing of the composites is performed in the "heating-cooling" mode within the temperature range of 20÷200 °C in order to form a ferroelectric phase by phase transitions in the mode of heating and the mode of cooling.
EFFECT: technical result is production of nanocomposites with properties of multiferroics.
