FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for discharging oil from an oil chamber, located in the downstream part of a gas turbine engine. Device for discharging oil includes means of discharging oil, designed to discharge at least some of the oil contained in the oil chamber out of the engine when the level in the said chamber exceeds the threshold level and oil entrapment means configured to allow through a steam of air which contributes to entrapping the oil in order to discharge it out of the engine. Oil entrapment means comprise a vent orifice made in the downstream part of the said engine so that the oil takes said orifice, and a guide element arranged so that the oil, having taken said vent orifice, is directed toward the downstream bleed zone of the low-pressure turbine. Present invention also relates to a turbomachine containing such a device for discharging oil.
EFFECT: technical result: higher efficiency of a gas turbine engine.
