FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of blocked foamed glass. Method of producing blocked foamed glass involves preparation of a foaming composition of glass powder, gas-forming agent - glycerol, aqueous solution of sodium silicate, mixing and moulding granules from produced foamed glass mixture, subsequent drying and thermal treatment thereof to obtain a foamed glass block. Glass powder glass powder used is boron-containing glass with low melting temperature in system: SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO, Na2O, B2O3 with relative ratio of basic oxides in following range: SiO2:B2O3:Na2O=1:(0.24-0.32):(0.22-0.26). Glycerol, sodium silicate and water are added to powdered glass in amount of 3-5 %, 6-10 % and 20-25 %, respectively, of weight of glass powder with mixing and granulation of foaming mixture. Foaming is performed at 630-700 °C in metal moulds of given size and shape for 30-40 minutes with subsequent annealing. Drying of raw granules is carried out at temperature 120-200 °C. Annealing of foamed blocks is performed at temperature 390-410 °C.
EFFECT: reduced foaming temperature and time.
