FIELD: metalworking.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for thermal cutting of metals with the help of a small-sized thermal cutting machine with replaceable cutters for gas and plasma cutting also providing stripping and marking the surface of cut parts with a colouring compound by means of replaceable tools. In the machine support two sensors of distance to the metal surface are mounted parallel to the cutter axis, one of which is inductive and the other one is eddy-current. Cutter holder assembly is connected to the foot bearing by two flat springs with rigidly fixed ends located with a gap in parallel to each other and transverse to the vertical axis of the working cutter and is pressed by them to the thrust plate. In the machine housing there are sockets for storage of replaceable stripping and marking tool. Stripping tool with a working element in the form of a metal end brush provides stripping of protective coating on the processed metal sheet in points of welding with mounting parts. At one end of a rod placed in the housing the working element attachment point is made. Individual eddy-current sensors provide maintenance of specified working gap of the tool and its protection from emergencies in collisions with obstacles.

EFFECT: machine is multipurpose and possesses expanded technological capabilities.
