FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for remote cutting of metal structures of decommissioned nuclear reactors. Step motor with reduction gear of device is located on support for electric drive. Step motor with gearbox is engaged with vertically arranged set bar made of links connected to each other by means of threaded joints. In the upper part of the rod there is a support bushing moving along external surface of the first link of the rod and fixed on it with two bolts. Lower part of said rod is made in the form of bushing, upper end of which is connected to last link of assembling rod by means of threaded connection, and cone-shaped support tip is screwed into lower end. A video camera with a flashlight is mounted on the outer surface of the sleeve. On the outer side of the sleeve by means of a hinge joint movable unit of the plasma cutter holder is fixed, which can deviate by an angle of up to 20° from vertical position, in which the plasma cutter head is installed. Assembly of the plasma cutter holder is additionally equipped with return springs connecting it with the bushing. A cable-hose connecting the plasma cutter with the current source and the compressor is fixed along the whole length of the set bar by means of clamps.

EFFECT: possibility of efficient creation of penetrations in radiation-contaminated metal structures of a nuclear reactor, which are distant from each other.
