FIELD: agriculture; animal breeding.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for storage and distribution of fodder to animals in agriculture. Self-feeder for feeding rolled hay contains posts (1) and grate container (7). Container is configured to accommodate roll (8) into it. Posts are made with possibility of height adjustment. Crossbars (6) rest on posts. Container is rigid in longitudinal direction by regular arrangement of rigid longitudinal rods from wooden bars (9). Container is flexible in transverse direction by fixing longitudinal rods to flexible connections made of conveyor belts (10). Container is suspended to crossbar. Ends of container are equipped with mesh. Mesh is fixed on longitudinal rods.

EFFECT: invention provides ease of manufacture, ease of assembly, transportation and installation in new place.
