SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of a flat folded pack casings in magazine casting machine, removing each a flat-folded pack casing from the magazine, folding of flat-folded pack casing in cross-section a parallelogram forming the erected pack casing with a withdrawal and deployment device and passing of the erected pack casing by means of a transfer device to a transport means for transporting the erected pack casing along a transport path. Wherein at least one processing step to the pack casing is carried out while the upright pack casing on the transport of transport device. Wherein transport device comprises a transport wheel having a plurality of radially outwardly extending receptacles for in each case one pack casing. Wherein each receiving a plurality of profiles which are on and/or adjacent to the bending edges of the pack casing can be brought into abutment, transport device has a drive for rotating the transport wheel about a rotational axis, and reducing the restoring force of the erected pack casing by temporarily increasing the inner angle between the package walls on the outer folding edges is more than 90°. Transport device is operated stepwise. And reducing the restoring force during standstill of the erected pack casing takes place on the transport path. Filling machine is intended for implementation of method and contains the above transport device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency is provided.
