MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FOLDING LIGHTING MAST REGULAR ALTERNATING IN HEIGHT SECTION Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC E04H12/08

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of power engineering facilities, particularly, to electric lighting of streets, areas, to steel folding masts, used for placement of lighting devices, then folding lighting mast. Manufacturing method of folding lighting mast with regular alternating in height section, consists in formation of closed polygonal cross section. Mast is cut out from whole sheet together with shaft and counter balance, connecting them with temporary links with length from 3 to 10 mm, prior to mast bending on press, along cutting line between mast base and counterweight, symmetrically to cutting line, metal strip is welded, with width of 25-40 mm and thickness equal to 1-1.5 thicknesses of sheet, after bending and longitudinal seam welding to mast billet hinge is welded, then bridges are removed, mast base is separated from counterweight with top and all necessary for installation and operation parts are welded.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of labor intensiveness of manufacturing folding lighting mast with hinged device, allowing to raise and lower lighting devices without using any additional equipment.
