FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for coating metal bases using one or more powdered compositions. Method of coating metal base provides creation of the metal base. Then the first composition of powder coating is applied. After that, the second composition is applied consisting of powder coating on the non-gelled first coating composition. Second composition contains at least one polymer resin binder and additive for application. System for improving the application of powder coating composition contains a composition of powder coating and an additive for application. Composition of powder coating is applied electrostatically on non-gelled powder coating.
EFFECT: reduced back ionization and Faraday cell effect, which enables to obtain coatings with optimum smooth surface and coating of edges.
