FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: axle-box link comprises a housing made integral with the large and the small heads, a long roller with two composite bushings and a spacing ring, a short roller with two composite bushings and a spacing ring. Rollers are mounted in cylindrical holes of the housing heads, shanks of the long roller are rigidly fixed on the locomotive bogie frame and shanks of the short roller - on the locomotive housing axle box. Each composite bushing is a damping bushing made of structural material pressed into a metal sleeve. Composite bushings are pressed in the corresponding head. Each spacing ring is pressed into the corresponding head of the axle-box link and is located between two corresponding composite bushings. Total length of both composite bushings of the small head is not less than 3/4 of the length of cylindrical part of the short roller, and total length of both composite bushings of the large head is not more than 1/2 of the length of cylindrical part of the long roller.
EFFECT: longer service life of the locomotive wheel pair wheels and service life of the large and the small heads of the axle-box link and increased service life of the large and the small heads of the axle-box link up to the normal value.
