FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmacology and medicine, namely to a new generation of anti-cancer preparations based on etoposide, and describes polymer containing medicinal agent based on antitumor agent etoposide, which includes a biodegradable polymer in the form of lactic and glycolic acid copolymer with intrinsic viscosity of 0.41 dl/g and molar ratio of monomer links 50 to 50 %, surface active substance in the form of polyvinyl alcohol, cryoprotectant in the form of D-mannitol, which is sub-micron particles and the following composition, wt%: etoposide - 5.0÷8.0; lactic and glycolic acid copolymer - 55.0÷61.0; polyvinyl alcohol - 16.0÷18.0; D-mannitol - 17.0÷20.0.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by high antitumor activity at subcutaneous, intraperitoneal and intravenous introduction, as well as lower toxicity level and can be used for treating malignant growths.
