FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, specifically to non-contact bearing assemblies with electromagnetic bearings, and can be used in designing high-speed rotor units. Magnetic bearing for support of rotor to rotate consists of two magnetically conductive rings (1), connected to each other by solid magnetic conducting rods (2), with coils (3). Coils (3) are located around bearing axis parallel to axes, each of coils (3) has a magnetic core and winding (5) providing axial arrangement of magnetic flux. Windings (5) are located on bushings (4) made of insulating material, and bushing (4), in its turn, are located on rods (2), which are cores of coils (3) and connecting two rings (1).
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of manufacturability of magnetic bearing, reliability and ease of repair, as well as widening range of perceived axial loads, due to use of whole core coils.
